Vita

Alexandra Gertrud Maria Marx (1967) is an alumna of Dartington College of Arts, Dartington, England. She studied Music and Visual Arts & Performance B.A. there from 1996 to 2001.

From 2017 to 2022 she acquired the MA for Art Education in the department of Fr. Prof. Dr. Susanne Liebmann-Wurmer at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.

Her emphasis in her artistic work are stories as reality-generating elements in biographies, being woman, being child, being human in patriarchy, the body as a pawn of capitalism and as a direct trade product for technocracy, Embodiment as the foundation for self-empowerment, the real and the media.
